🛵 Dat Bike: a pioneering Vietnam-based startup that specializes in manufacturing electric vehicles.
Founded in 2019 by Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh Son, the former talented software engineer at Silicon Valley.
Successfully raising $4M in Aug. 2024 from InfraCo Asia (part of The Private Infrastructure Development Group) with the support of Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA). Before that, Dat Bike also secured the funding rounds from Jungle Ventures, GSR Ventures, Delivery Hero Ventures, Wavemaker Partners, Innoven Capital, etc. Up to now, the startup has raised a total capital of $25M.
Dat Bike has expanded its presence across Vietnam with 2 factories in Tan Binh Industrial Zone, 12 stores & dealership partners, bringing EVs closer to customers. The stores are upgraded with “3S standard”, including Sales space (product display), space for spare parts, & Service space (repair, maintenance) to bring the best satisfaction to customers.
The startup is named in Top 50 Sustainable Development Enterprises 2024 (Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine) for its proud 5-year journey of making EVs.
⚡One of the outstanding products of Dat Bike is Quantum S-Series, including 3 latest e-scooter models “Quantum S1, S2, S3”. The birth of Quantum S-Series marks a breakthrough in EV technology, overcoming all the disadvantages of conventional electric scooters. More amazingly, Quantum S-Series demonstrate various superior features to gasoline vehicles.

Economical: Users don’t need to worry about high petrol cost any more. The electricity cost to drive a Quantum S2 is just 5,000 VND per 100km. This charge spending is 10 times cheaper than fuel cost of gasoline scooter. As a result, Quantum S-Series helps users save up to 2.7 million VND per month.
Environment-friendly: In Vietnam, motorcycles are one of the major sources of CO2 emissions in the transport sector with over 45 million motorcycles used daily. In Ho Chi Minh City, petrol scooters account for 37% of dust emissions. Using Quantum S is the responsible act to improve the air quality, making it cleaner & healthier.
Strong: Quantum S-Series has proved it the king of performance among electric & gasoline scooters. In detail, Quantum S1 can move 285km per charge with capacity of 7000W & speed of 100km/hour, which not only outperforms current e-scooters but surpasses gasoline scooters as well. It also shows the superior acceleration with up to 50 km/hour in just 3 seconds. The battery life lasts up to 25 years.
Smart:
📱Quantum S uses a magnetic card to turn on the scooter. It can connect to smartphone app to start automatically when user approaches the bike.
🚙 Automotive technology is integrated for the first time into 2-wheel vehicles by Dat Bike. No more worries about the scooter rolling backwards on a slope when stopping. Hill Assist mode is automatically activated to keep the scooter from rolling on a slope when you release the brake.
